SUSTAINABLE BUSINESS AWARDS

On the path of sustainability that we set out on saying This is Our World, we are working for the happiness of the soil, water we use, farmers, employees, consumers and in consequence for the happiness of our community in general. Ülker was awarded a Sustainable Business Awards in the Sustainable Communication category for its communication campaign. The awards given by the Sustainability Academy, now in their third year, celebrate sustainable business models in Turkey.

As Ülker, we consider Sustainability as the core step for the companies to exist in the future and we walk together with all our stakeholders on this path.

We attach an importance to communication campaigns that encourages accurate and effective sustainable growth actions and practices. In addition to this, we create strategies, policies and long term sustainability goals to achieve the continuation of our campaigns and work.

Within this context, we conduct communication activities that raise awareness (workshop to set vision and targets, trainings in facilities, awareness practices, platforms for farmer and suppliers) through evaluating our degree of influence on our stakeholders and the effect of stakeholders on Ülker.

We continue to work with our departments in line with our principles that we set out in different fields of environment, value chain, innovation, employee, social responsibility and leadership.
