WORLD COCOA FOUNDATION

We take part in the effort to provide sustainable supply of cocoa which is the raw material of chocolate, by Ülker Bisküvi’s membership to the World Cocoa Foundation in 2012. Being the first Turkish company to be a member of World Cocoa Foundation, we are supporting the supply of cocoa in a sustainable way as well as improving the welfare of cocoa farmers.

Yıldız Holding companies Godiva and United Biscuits are members of World Cocoa Foundation, which was founded in 2000 and conducts collaborative Works with governments, universities, non-governmental organizations and farmers in the countries that produce cocoa. These collaborative works include the research to increase the quality and efficiency in cocoa production and the trainings for farmers and their families.
